Nomicron.org is a repository of information for a game of Nomic that started on 2001-10-01. Nomic is a game that begins with a set of rules, which are added to and amended throughout the course of the game. For a description of Nomic and its origins, read the web site of its inventor, Peter Suber or the faq at nomic.net. Mechanics of Play Nomicron is played through a combination of this web site and an email list. Players submit proposals and vote through the web site. The Administrator uses the mailing list to send official game messages. In addition, players may use the mailing list for the purpose of rule debate or otherwise communcating with all players. Looney has won Round 4 of Nomicron by having the highest value of (score * acceptance index) per LAW-290. Looney surpassed the Target Score of 990 points by donating -1000 points to the Royal Coffers, an action which was determined to be legal by the rulings on cases RFJ-427 and RFJ-428. |
